The Project:
District Council 47’s website needed a complete redesign. They had no content management system, confusing navigation and nowhere to place their fresh content.
Having issues with their big-bucket web company, they wanted to switch. They needed custom attention to detail and design for their many different types of user roles (admin, editor, writer, user & subscriber).
They now have a dynamic blog that shares with their social media, driving traffic to their site and increasing their presence online. Their message can now be distributed in different ways to reach the appropriate user base, whether it’s union members, the general public or another organization.
Mobile Ready
With more users turning to mobile devices as their primary internet access point, dynamic resizing was a must for this project. Whether this site is viewed on a smart phone, tablet or desktop it will auto adjust to the number of pixels available.

The Project:
qFLIX is Philly’s premier gay film festival. Their website had to be completed fast with the film festival approaching quickly. Their content management system needed to handle all types of media – videos, images and audio. When we started their online presence was next to nothing, focusing more on traditional marketing. Less than a year later web traffic and social media engagement has increased exponentially, catapulting their digital campaign.
Color
The color scheme was inspired by their logo. Grays and blacks accompany the bright pink followed by intense color pops to reflect the vibrant community in Philadelphia.

We love video, and with something like a film festival you have to be creative. We created some really fun intros, capturing the beauty of Philadelphia, while incorporating the festival’s theme for that year. Take a peek at the 2015 qFLIX intro.

Bringing together historic records and modern technology we created digital signage that reflects the Company’s current message with its nearly 80 years of history. The three-story building features live piano music on it’s main floor, a restaurant on the lower level and night club upstairs. Multiple flat screen displays circulate content throughout the night with specials and historic messages.
TV Commercial
The Tavern Group truly has “Something for Everyone,” which would be the slogan and inspiration for their 30 second commercial featuring the locations three distinctly different atmospheres. We wanted to show the differences yet stay true to their “tavern” feel.
